How to read your Cigna ID card –Your member id card provides information to identify your health plan, group number, where to file claims and customer service telephone number for you and your provider.  

Your employee group number is 3330017. Call customer service at 1-800-244-6224.  Claims are mailed to PO Box 5200, Scranton, PA  18505-5200.

Your health plan identification can be found on the upper right hand corner and bottom left hand corner of your member id card.  

• If you are enrolled in the Choice Fund HRA Plan your member id card will read “Choice Fund OA Plus” in the upper right hand corner of the card and “Wake County Govt. HRA” at the bottom left hand corner of the card. 
• For employees enrolled in the Open Access Plus plan, your member id card will read  “Open Access Plus” in the upper right hand corner of the card and “Wake County Govt. OAP” the bottom left hand corner of the card.

Choice Fund HRA Plan Participants…What you should know. 

• When you visit your doctor - Inform your doctor that you are a HRA participant at the time of your visit.  Request to be billed after the medical claim has been filed rather than at the time of service.   This is extremely important if you have funds in your Health Reimbursement Account to cover some or all of your healthcare expenses.  This friendly reminder to providers is also located on the back of your member is card, “Reminder to Providers: Please do not collect deductible or coinsurance at the time of service.”  
• Choice Fund HRA members participating in the Flexible Spending Plan - Choice Fund HRA members enrolled in the Flex Spending Plan are reminded to use your FSA funds for deductible expenses after exhausting your HRA balance.  Utilizing your flex funds prior to exhausting your HRA balance will require you to issue a refund to your flex account. 

CIGNA Tel-Drug Service – Cigna offers a Home Delivery Pharmacy program that is convenient for members and covered dependents.  You can sign up as a new member by contacting CIGNA Tel-Drug toll free at 1-800-285-4812. If you participated in the home delivery program through United Healthcare, you can have your home prescription delivery transferred to CIGNA Tel-Drug service by contacting the Tel Drug representative who will call your doctor to obtain authorization for up to a 90-day supply with refills of a covered prescription drug.  Visit www.myCIGNA.com and under the Related Health Resources section located on the right hand side of the page and click the CIGNA Tel-drug Home Delivery link to learn more about this service.
