Recruitment

 

Recruitment is a shared responsibility of Human Resources and the other departments of County Government.

 

Position Announcements

 

The Human Resources Director shall publicize all permanently established vacant positions.  Such announcements must be directed toward all potential sources of applicants, including minorities, women, and the disabled. Announcements used in recruitment must, as a minimum, include the title of the position, duties, minimum salary, minimum qualifications, and an equal employment opportunity statement.

 

Applicants may inquire about vacant positions at the Human Resources office at any time or they may access the website, www.wakegov.com for current vacancy information.

 

Vacant Positions

 

Vacant regular positions must remain open for receipt of applications for at least five (5) workdays from the date the vacancy is announced by Human Resources.
