202 Establishment and Revision of Classes

Classification studies may reveal the need to establish new classes or to abolish existing ones.  Recommendations to establish new classes as well as to abolish existing ones will be made by the County Manager to the Board of County Commissioners.

A class specification which includes class title, general statement of duties, distinguishing features of the class, recruitment standards including (1) knowledge, skills and abilities, (2) minimum education and experience, and (3) special requirements will be prepared for each new class.
