Financial Reports

FAMIS is Wake County’s financial information database. Employees who need financial information use the FAMIS GUI for access. However, FAMIS shows the information one screen at a time and the user may have to access multiple screens in order to retrieve the necessary information.

Impromptu is a software package that accesses the FAMIS database and pulls requested information into a financial report. Reports created with Impromptu can also be saved as a spreadsheet and the information can be moved or rearranged according to the user’s preferences.
